Alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU Slide Shows Performance Uplifts & Value Versus Non-SUPER Lineup
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU performance and value figures have been presented in an alleged presentation to retailers in Vietnam.
NVIDIA has officially announced its GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU family with three products, the RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and the RTX 4070 SUPER. We got to know the specs, prices, & some details about where we can expect the performance to be around for these cards. Value is the main talking point of these cards as they feature the same or $200 less pricing versus the non-SUPER parts but also come with extra performance, and in some cases, this is up to a 15% increase.

Now, a new slide has been presented to Vietnam-based retailers by one major AIB partner and the numbers display the relative performance and value for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series against a range of Non-SUPER RTX 40 and RTX 30 GPUs. From what we were able to gather, this chart is based on Non-DLSS (Frame-Gen) performance so you are looking at a very apples-to-apples comparison. Following are the relative performance values for each specific graphics card:
Based on performance values, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER offers an 8.8% performance uplift over the RTX 4080 Non-SUPER, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER offers a 12% performance uplift over the RTX 4070 Non-SUPER and the RTX 4070 SUPER offers a 10% improvement over the RTX 4070 Non-SUPER. Once again, these are partner cards that are compared and since these mostly feature factory overclocks, performance can vary a bit vs NVIDIA's Founders Edition models.
In terms of value, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER offers the best performance per dollar in the GPU lineup followed by the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER at third place and the RTX 4080 SUPER at fourth place. Each SUPER card offers relatively better value than its Non-SUPER variant and that would be great for gamers who have been waiting to buy a new GeForce RTX 40 graphics card as now they'll get better performance at the same or lower price. Daniel Owen also talks about the price-to-perf values of the upcoming cards in the following video:
Now once again, these performance numbers are to be considered a rumor since a lot of details and testing methodology are missing but we are just a few weeks away from the launch of the first graphics card, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, so we will know for sure how the NVIDIA lineup stacks up against the competition and most importantly against the current RTX 40 lineup.
