Acer Unleashes New Predator Gaming Monitors: XB273U F5 With G-Sync Pulsar And XB273K V5 4K Display

The new Acer Predator gaming monitors feature up to 360Hz refresh rate and top-notch specs for immersive gaming with G-Sync Pulsar technology.
Apart from announcing the new Nitro monitor series, Acer has also introduced and added two new gaming monitors in the Predator series.
The company showcased its latest monitors at IFA 2024, featuring QHD & 4K resolutions and high refresh rates for enthusiasts. These are the Predator XB273U F5 and Predator XB273K V5, boasting premium design and high-quality IPS panels.
Acer claims that monitors can reach as low as 0.5ms GtG response time, reducing blur and providing clear visuals of fast-moving objects. This helps gamers have a competitive edge in intensive battles while offering more immersion. The gaming monitors not only offer high refresh rates of up to 360Hz, but they also come with the latest adaptive sync technologies for providing tear-free gameplay.
The Acer Predator XB273U F5 is a 27-inch monitor with 2560x1440p resolution, featuring up to 360Hz refresh rate for excellent fluidity. This gaming monitor is among the few that received NVIDIA's G-Sync Pulsar technology to provide motion clarity by up to 4X the regular panels, ensuring users get a smooth and tear-free VRR gameplay experience. This monitor also packs MediaTek's scaler which was announced as a partner for upcoming G-Sync monitors.
It brings both the latest HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports that support 360Hz refresh rate and comes with 1ms/0.5ms GtG response time. The monitor can support up to a solid 500 nits of brightness and with the DisplayHDR mode, it can reach a peak of 550 nits, ensuring users can play in well-lit environments. Furthermore, it has two powerful 5W speakers and allows various adjustments through its highly ergonomic and stylish stand.
The Acer Predator XB273K V5 is a more premium choice for those who want to see more details. It brings the same 27-inch IPS display but with a 3840x2160p resolution. While it isn't equipped with the NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar, it does bring AMD FreeSyc Premium to keep the screen tearing at bay. This along with up to 160Hz refresh rate and a response time of as low as 0.5ms GtG, the monitor can provide a pleasant gaming experience and colorful virtual worlds via a solid 95% DCI-P3 color gamut.
It also supports HDR mode, which enables it to reach 400 nits of brightness for showing vivid details. Apart from the HDMI and DP ports, it comes with an audio port as well. However, the speakers are downgraded to 2W compared to 5W on the XB273U F5. Nonetheless, the ergonomics are retained for easy adjustability.
The Predator XB273K V5 is planned to launch in Q4 2024 in North America, EMEA, and China at an MSRP of $499 but the availability & pricing details for the Predator XB273U F5 are not revealed yet.
