Chinese motherboard manufacturer, abit, has introduced two super affordable Intel B760 designs in the Mini-ITX form factor.
abit, not to be confused with Abit, a Chinese manufacturer that introduces super affordable and budget DIY solutions. The company has recently introduced its brand new B760ITX D4 series which comes in white and black colored flavors. Both motherboards are very similar in design as far as their specifications are concerned.
Starting with the specifications, the abit AB-B760ITX motherboards feature the LGA 1700/1800 CPU socket that can support both 12th Gen, 13th Gen, & even the upcoming 14th Gen Desktop lineup. The CPU is powered by a 9+1 Phase power delivery design which doesn't feature any heatsink on top of it. The motherboards feature just two DDR4 DIMM slots which can support up to 4200 (OC) MT/s speeds and up to 64 GB capacities. Power is provided through a single 8-pin connector & the standard 24-Pin ATX connector.
I/O on the abit B760ITX motherboards includes a single PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 slot, an M.2 NVMe slot which is rated for Gen 4.0 operation which is located right over the Intel B760 PCH heatsink, & 4 SATA III ports. abit states that they are using an 8-layer PCB for the motherboard which should be durable and provide a stable connection between the different components. I/O includes a single DP port, two HDMI ports, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5 GbE LAN port, and a Realtek ALC 897 audio-codec that powers the 3-channel audio jack. The white variant even comes with an added WiFi module but there's room to add it yourself on the black variant.
In terms of pricing, both abit Intel B760 ITX motherboards are priced at 599 RMB which equals $84 US. This is a very affordable price compared to the $100 US+ options available in the US. Even the AMD A620 options are hard to buy at this price point with similar features.
